A Kiwi mother has launched a petition, calling for a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the safety and efficacy of Covid-19 vaccine use in New Zealand.
A Royal Commission is the most serious response to an issue available to the New Zealand Government. It investigates matters of great importance and difficulty.
A Royal Commission is engaged in fact-finding and preventing future recurrences. It investigates why the situation came about and then recommends policy or legislative changes to prevent it happening again.
Aly Cook says more than 68,000 adverse events have been reported after Covid-19 vaccines, including 3688 serious events involving heart attack, myocarditis, pericarditis and spontaneous abortion.
“The vaccines were advertised as safe and effective. I believe there is insufficient research into mRNA vaccine injuries. I believe there have been more adverse reactions reported after Covid-19 vaccines than other medicines and that it is untrue that they are effective. I believe it is time for an inquiry”, she says.
Aly says that her son Bailey, 26, was injured by his first shot after being mandated and forced to take the vaccine by the trucking company he was working for.
“Six hours later he was in an ambulance, unable to breathe with his heart rate of more than 200 beats per minute. One year later he is still suffering with continuing bouts of myocarditis and pericarditis”, she says.
“People were not warned about this. People have died and they have been injured. And the media remains silent. They don’t seem to take any notice or even care about the injured. But I know there are a lot of New Zealanders out there who do care. I ask them to sign this petition to show just how many people are concerned about the efficacy and safety of the mRNA vaccine.”
She warns that this will be the last opportunity for a petition about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine.
“It was very difficult getting this petition across the line. I had to prove every single word that was in the petition and I did that with their own documentation. They won't do another similar petition, as dictated by their rules, so this is our one chance to send a message to this government that we want it looked into - how they approved this vaccine, without knowing that it was either safe or effective.”
The petition was launched on February 17 and closes on March 31.
In the meantime a paper published this week by APMIS, an international journal of pathology, microbiology and immunology, calls for further research into the design of lipid-nanoparticles and the half-life of these and mRNA vaccines in humans.
