Jacinda Ardern’s valedictory speech was a winner for her fans but nauseating for anyone who might have hoped for a word of comfort and perhaps an admission she might have been just a little bit wrong about her ‘safe and effective’ promises.
People who waited for recognition for the vaccine injured and sympathy for those who lost their jobs as a result of the mandates were disappointed. The abandonment will be remembered with pain, anger, hurt and still disbelief.
Aly Cook says she could barely listen to Ardern’s valedictory speech. Her 26-year-old son, Bailey was severely injured by his first shot after being mandated to take the vaccine by the trucking company he was working for.He was refused an exemption for further shots and lost his job anyway.
"She couldn't care less about our vaccine injured families. I will never forgive her or any of the politicians, or their parties currently in parliament, who signed a pact to never walk out and meet those injured, at the Wellington protest. And then the mandates, the criminal mandates that threatened jobs for a pharmaceutical that was never tested for efficacy: and the ignoring of increased death rates. She may swan off to her next job, as my son awaits a cardiologist appointment, a year later, for his vaccine damaged heart. And she spouts ‘conspiracy theorist’ and ‘far-right’. I just say I'm not ‘far-right’, I’m just ‘right so far’.”
More than 20,000 people have signed Aly Cook’s petition so far. It remains open until April 30.
Her request is that the House of Representatives call for a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the safety and efficacy of Covid-19 vaccine use in New Zealand.
The reason for the petition is based on the fact that more than 68,000 adverse events have been reported after Covid-19 vaccines. This includes 3688 serious events including heart attack, myocarditis, pericarditis and spontaneous abortion.
“The vaccines were advertised as safe and effective. I believe there is insufficient research into mRNA vaccine injuries. I believe there have been more adverse reactions reported after Covid-19 vaccines than other medicines and that it is untrue that they are effective. I believe it is time for an inquiry”, Aly Cook says.
This year’s election will be interesting. Each one of those hurt people who trusted Jacinda’s “your single source of truth” slogan, will be thinking hard about which politicians they can trust.
